Day 10

Lunch yesterday:
  • chicken salad (not chicken on salad, but the chicken with Miracle whip, relish, .5 cup each of cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, and onions)
  • Jell-OBulleted List
Dinner yesterday:
  • Bell pepper with tomato sauce and cheese
Snacks yesterday:
  • Jell-O
  • Sugar-free candy
  • Cucumber slices
Breakfast:
  • Broccoli and cheese

I stepped on my scale this morning and was disappointed to find I had only lost half a pound. About an hour later I was down a pound. When I got off I noticed that somehow I accidentally reset 0 to 3lbs yesterday. So I am down 11 lbs since starting last Monday. :-D Sadly I'm still 10 above where I was in May, but at least I'm going in the right direction.

I've found that when I am around certain people I want to cheat more than when I'm with others. My friend and I usually would kill time by going out for a treat. Our hanging out usually involved eating a high calorie treat of some kind. It's been a bit challenging to change that mindset and understand that we can hang out without pigging out. So far I've been able to keep with the diet despite the cravings. Thank goodness for sugar-free Jell-O and diet soda :)
